In Rue de la Résistance in Ahn a new winery was built for the young wine-grower Jeff Konsbruck. The upper floor accomodates a generous wine bar with a large terrace as well as a kitchen, an office room and an apparment. In the basement is installed the wine cellar with the production rooms with the bottling and labeling plant and the storage rooms. The new construction is integrated in the middle of the wineyards in Ahn. The massive socle is realized in colored washed-out concrete that reminds of the surrouning wineyard terraces. The upper floor is realized as wooden construction with a vertical wooden battens. The green backgroud that glimmers through the woodbattens varies depending on the time of the day and the position of the beholfer, this play of colors and the interaction of wood and green coloraccents follow the surrounding grape-vines.
